Hi all! This is the page where I will keep you updated on what is going on in my life. I like to write but I'll try to keep it short. This semester I'll be busy enough reading and writing papers and researching at the library, so that shouldn't be too difficult for now.
Current Location: University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario
Current Occupation: Working on the last semester of my MA in Mediaeval Studies. It's interdisciplinary, and my focuses are on literature, languages, and editing of manuscripts. It's not a history degree! Really and truly!! This semester I'm taking Anglo-Saxon Poetry, Codicology (describing and preserving manuscripts), and either Aelfric's (11th century English monk) Mind at Work (literature) or History and Structure of the English Language II (yet to be decided).
Future Plans: Return to Kelowna in January to take a long-awaited break and to work.
This summer I taught ESL at Trend College in Kelowna. It was a lot of work (prep time - yowzers!) and a lot of fun.
My mom's family had a reunion at Fairmont Hot Springs in August. Some of us went on a nice hike. We didn't reach our destination, a mountain lake, but we did eat a ton of really really yummy wild berries.
